The Siglent SAP4000P is a 4 GHz power rail probe for measuring ripple and noise on supply rails in power supplies and DC/DC converters. Its DC attenuation ratio is just 1.1:1, so almost the full signal reaches the oscilloscope and ripple of a few millivolts is visible. The ±24 V offset range centres the rail on screen even at high supply voltages, with an input dynamic range of ±600 mV. Input resistance is 20 kΩ at low frequency and 50 Ω at high frequency; offset and DC gain accuracy are both 3%. The probe connects over SAPBus, which provides automatic identification and power from the oscilloscope.
