The Siglent SAP8000D is an 8 GHz active differential probe for high-speed signal measurement on high-performance oscilloscopes. It has a 10X attenuation ratio and a differential input impedance of 300 fF || 20 kΩ — a low loading that lets you probe fast circuits without disturbing their behaviour. The offset range reaches ±12 V, allowing signals riding on a DC level to be measured directly. The probe connects through the SAPBus interface, which provides automatic identification, power and calibration from the oscilloscope with no external supply required. It suits characterisation of high-speed serial interfaces, clock circuits and gigahertz differential signals.
